Ferdinand from "Babe"

Wikipedia says Ferdinand the Duck from the movie Babe is an Indian Runner Duck. I'm so disappointed! I thought he was a Pekin like my babies. Is it true? Anyone else have Indian Runners?

This is funny - I was just thinking about Ferdinand the other day when I was reading a post about the AFLAC duck!

I raised some Runners last year, and have decided that I don't care for them. My Jumbo Pekin, on the other hand, is a big, goofy, sweetheart! So, sticksoup, I think you'll be even happier with your baby Pekins than with a bunch of little Ferdinand clones.
