Howdy folks! I've got about 120lbs of leftover 20% soy-free organic broiler feed from our last run of CX that I'd love to offer our layer chicks which are arriving today or tomorrow. I wanted to check with y'all to confirm they'd thrive and I'm not introducing anything they can't handle too early.

To confirm, I'd ferment this and offer it in addition to dry chick crumble and grit that we already have planned for them.

Here are the ingredients on the broiler mix:

240 ORGANIC SOY PR FREE BROILER GROWER 20% - ORGANIC PEAS, ORGANIC SUNFLOWER MEAL, ORGANIC BARLEY, ORGANIC CORN, ORGANIC FLAXSEED MEAL, POULTRY PRO PLUS ccm, CA CAR #80 cis, EUREKA, REDMOND SALT po

What do y'all think? Thanks a ton in advance!

What we'd need is the nutrition panel, not ingredients list.

Assuming it doesn't have unusually high fat % or some other % that seem oddly skewed I don't see why it can't be used. Layer chicks don't eat nonstop like broiler chicks.
