I've read where some people set the fingers 2.5" apart on the barrel and some people say theirs is 3" apart. One individual said they put theirs at 3" apart, then they tried 4". They seemed to think the wider 4" spacing did a better job plucking. Some people say 2 rows around the barrel and some say 3 rows. I'm down to drilling the holes in the barrel for the fingers, so I want to do it right. Does anyone have any input on this spacing distance and number of rows ?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'm planning on sharing once I've finished and tested it. I have to determine the finger spacing for the barrel and get those in, and finish welding all the frame work. Then it should be completed.
