First coop advice

Just wanted to update and thank you all for your advice! Coop is essentially done. Love love love the litter tray advice, it's working so well! I still need to add ventilation, there appears to be room in the tiny eve area under the roof that I can cut a row of circular holes and then screen in, but for now we are keeping the doors to the coop open enough it hasn't been an issue.
Since the video, we have added a tarp over 1/3 of the run for shade and wind protection, and moved their feed and water under it as well.
I'm not completely sold on the deep litter method tho. When I move the cinder blocks around when cleaning ir rearranging, I find a lot of pinch bugs in the wood chips. Debating about exchanging wood chips for sand.
Otherwise I have no complaints thus far on the design.

Nothing wrong with earwigs, if you uncover them for the chickens they should enjoy eating them. You need bugs, microbes and other things like that to flourish in deep litter, because that's how material break down.

If you are considering sand keep in mind that it works best if kept bone dry and cleaned frequently, as it is not a composting system.
