Third baby has arrived! First Maran × Cream Legbar!

All fluffed. So silvery and pretty!

This baby almost looks like it prematurely lost its egg tooth. It's been working at it for over 12hrs, still peeping, but seems very very tired.

Two more are hard at work. I've seen others move, so hoping they'll move along.
3rd brown egg from unknown mother (I have 22 brown egg layers) this one has a light colored beak.

This baby finally hatched! Had a huge umbilical hernia, I had to pull the 3 older chicks out, as they were pecking at this poor baby! It's finally resting and the older ones are enjoying their new set up!

The 2 left looked like they were fully developed, the air sacs even expanded. I'm not sure why they didn't hatch. I didn't do an eggtopsy. We buried them (my kids are 6, 4 and 2) thanked God for their lives and said goodbye. My sweet Olive, the only I knew for a fact was a female olive egger, was somehow stuck and ended up passing a few days ago. She was beautiful.
