First time incubating

Needing some advice! Incubating 4 duck eggs, only one has pipped so far and we're on day 29.

What type of duck are they? Muscovy takes 35 days and usually other ducks are 28. Have you candled the other three? (put flashlight under egg in dark room).

Indian runner and yes all 4 have life just no progress whatsoever

Hmmm... I would wait another day or so and see if they have progress. If not you may try and help them out. I personally have never done this and it is hard to do, but it may be your best choice. Not for ducks, but this is about assisted hatching.

3/4 pipped no babies yet but hopefully soon

We've got ourselves a baby! My son named her(?) Sookie. Going to see how the 4th is doing tomorrow, if there's still no progress the plan is to help it hatch. My mom (experienced with hatching chicks & ducklings) will be coming into town to help. I will keep updating for anyone in a similar situation, thanks!

* First picture: First baby (Sookie) has splayed leg so I rigged up something temporary but otherwise doing great.
* Second and third pictures: Second baby to hatch (yet to be named) hatched about 6hrs ago and is exhausted. Hoping the little one makes it through the night.
3rd egg did not make it after pipping, we tried to help it hatch, but it was too late. 4th egg did not have life, unsure of how long.
