Five new muscovies, a thousand new questions

I just bought a livestock bucket from a feed store that is too tall for them to climb into. Here's a video of them using it. It's about 22 seconds in.

They've never tipped over a bucket in 6.5 years. I think male muscovies are a bit bigger/stronger than my girls are though. My biggest duck was about 7lbs.

Crested pekin! Sweetest duck ever.

They can have health issues, so research crested ducks if you are interested in having one and make sure you are willing to contribute to that if you want a duckling. Personally, I'm not so I adopted mine as an adult.

SO CUTE. I will definitely look at adopting an adult...well, two.

He looks like a little English barrister. How did I not know there was a duck with a hairpiece until my mid-40s!?
