Floating Duck House Plans?

Thank you :)

I see that you used strapping that holds gas tanks up or something similar to attach the barrels. Excellent idea.

I am anxious to get my husband started on this. I plan to help as much as i can as I am the "handy" one. I have a disability that makes doing this on my own impossible, but I am a great foreman.

I've searched the forums but am unable to find any floating duck house plans. I've also searched online and come up with images but no plans. I know many of you are handy but my husband is not. He can follow plans if they are easy though. We currently have four ducks and a duck house on land. We plan to get more in the spring and would like to have a place they will all fit once the ducklings are integrated with the adults. Something that might house 10 or 12 ducks would be fantastic.
we built a platform of cedar and then put noodles on the under side with screen wire over the bottom to hold the noodles in then on top we cut some plastic barrels in quarter and attached like little houses we tied it off the platform with marine rope on each end so it floats in center of pond and it has lasted 4 years now....

Nice! Thanks!

Well, with everyone's help and input, I was able to design small floating duck house plans that I think my hubby can follow. There are a few things not included (tin for the roof after it is painted and hooks to anchor it).

I am posting what I came up with so others can use as a guide if they need something very basic.

Thank you all :hugs
