FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Sheesh, animal care here seems grossly understaffed in my county as the place to call for chicken rehoming/surrender. Having read some of the reviews, I'm a little concerned their no-kill would not extend to chickens nor could or would they really help in my situation.

The permethrin seems like it worked, at least, going to elector soak the hens for extra measure. Not sure what else I could do while waiting out a week to rehome them.

great weather/temperatures out here lately, something unusual happened at our ranch last week though, 1 of my neighbors horses died last week, turns out the vet said that many horses this far south wont drink the icy cold water, they collic!...... 2 of my horses grow an under coat that insulated them, however our TB always has a sleek thin coat, i use a thin blanket him on our coldest nights low 50's, never had an issue with any of them.

our chickens are VERY active though in this cool weather.

Good day. I live in Orlando and have a Muscovy hen I have rescued. She was born in August. Her mother and siblings were killed by trappers. I am looking for a home for her. She is currently living alone in a grassy area behind a restaurant and I bring her food and water each day. I live in an apartment, so I don’t have a place for her. She is very sweet and docile. I would like to find a home where she can live peacefully. If anyone who lives in FL reads this and would be willing to adopt her, please contact me. Thank you.
