I have been going to PT recently because I had some issue with my back and I have been given a stern handcart lecture.
And I only confessed to 50lb bags of feed!

You know, hauling the bricks up and the boards off the stall walls has just about done me in. Worse than carrying those bags

$5? That’s cheap! I’m getting $8 bucks for ten eggs, sometimes less eggs than that.
Now I’m not getting any eggs, so no money either way.

Cesario update:

Circumstances meant that we couldn't get Cesario off the roost in the dark and he was absolutely miserable about being grabbed unceremoniously! It made me wonder if he instinctually knew that most often when a cockerel gets grabbed in that way, that his life is over.

I was so pleased that my husband was willing to do a two hour drive to come and help me with Cesario, the cockerel that he was adamant that we should not keep! Maybe Cesario has won him over! So far, he is a very good boy.

We soaked his feet and discovered a hard piece of mud/bark wedged up in the webbing above his toes. I removed that and gave him a bit of a blow dry since it's well below freezing outside.

We took him back out to the ladies and he was still limping a bit. My husband wondered if he was just used to favouring that foot and will adjust.

I just checked on him again, but he is sitting in a nest keeping one of the pullets company while she lays her egg.

Awww your hubby is a keeper hopefully Cesario is now ok; and isn’t it so cute when they sit with the ladies when they lay their eggs?

It’s not really about the price of the eggs. It’s about friendship between me and my customer. Sometimes I have so many, I give them away. Other times there isn’t any to give or sell.

But my BIL was over here and he help remove all the boards, he told me next time to use 6” nails (ya he was being sarcastic!).

We created a huge mess - which I then had to clear away myself but it was worth it,

Yeah kiddo prefers to watch YouTube on our nintendo switch so no real way to avoid the ads. I'll see what I can do. I really don't want to get premium, I'd rather download videos onto her tablet if it comes to that. Thanks for the suggestions though, I'll put brave on my phone!
