I feel very lonely tonight. I went in the coop and brought Coco home with me. I get a late night cup of Coco, and an early morning cup of Coco too! Life is good 👍🏼 View attachment 3959718
She’s given me three grand years of laying. Now she’s allowed to rest and relax the rest of her natural life with me.

If fuentemoon reads this far..,
Good night.
And here’s a Walmart ice cream sandwich, guaranteed to last 12 years or more! IMG_4560.jpeg

I saw it....figured on the right one...mind focused on heading for the shower to wash off the evidence of our labors...

The fruits of our labors:

😊👍

Good job, hope you have a mechanical splitter! I have one best invention ever 😊

Of all the adventures I have had throughout my life, the most memorable and fun I’ve had was as a Disney cast member Engineer. Crazy fun and nobody shooting at me. I left because of the political climate and satanic influence. Sue me Disney.. I can prove my point in open court!

Hard to believe they were so small isn’t it? ♥️

The only wood that smells fresh is green wood....which needs to sit for at least 3 months to let the sap out of it. Burning the green stuff...burns more slowly but produces tons more creosote so is NOT a good idea in any kind of stove or fire place. In a fire pit outside, it works well. That wood has been dead/fallen for several years, so zero scent.
Oh, you burst my reverie ~ I thought it was cut fresh then stacked to dry out. But I suppose stacked freshcut would just mold anyway when stacked?

Nice!
Reminding me I need to split and stack some logs before it turns nasty out.
