Ha, Ha, Ha. Try moving 19-22 every night - from the tree (and pen top and coop door). The ones highest in the tree have got to be between 10 & 11' high as I can just.barely.reach.them. stretching my arms up and holding the base of a shovel to get them to step back onto the shovel handle.
Sigh. the Darn union wants mealy worms for tree sitting, too. Extra work for me and extra payout to the staff!

Are they still doing that? What brats!

I have about 20 to move, but thankfully all inside. If it were milder I would just leave Mr P and his gang in The Summer House. But it too cold for the silkies and Mr P out there.

Unfortunately this cat is not innocent. It has killed a couple doves and tried to kill a chicken. The feral cat problem here has gotten worse . I still love cats, but I don't know what to do with cats like this one.

Can't sleep, too cold! Up to find a third blanket for my side of the bed. Hubby says he can't understand how I do it, I tell him I'm a burrowing creature.
