I was outside before, mixing up some baby bird formula and it felt pretty chilly. It’s 12C (53.6F) and whilst that is probably balmy compared to @Kris5902 ’s -36C, I still wouldn’t want to be out overnight in it. I brought the bigger dog crate in and got some more formula into Lottie. She and Snowy are cuddled up and once the cats go to bed, I’ll open the bathroom door so they get the warmth of the rest of the house.
It wasn't so bad when I had mine out...and I was older (39?) and supposedly it is harder/worse when you are older. So, just think of it this way...it gives you an excuse to down lots of soft ice cream!!!!
Good luck. When it's in the rear view mirror, you will think "Well, that wasn't so bad"
Good luck on the teeth. Mine were tough going but it wasn't that bad (or possibly I don't remember because it is lost in a haze of medicinal whisky!).
