It's colder than that here today. The chickens are not impressed! I have to get out there to collect eggs before they freeze.

I love the interactions I am seeing between Branch and Poppet. This morning they dust bathed together. That was followed up by a preening session where Poppet was grooming Branch. He was so tolerant even when she decided she needed to try to rip off his earlobes.

It sounds perfect. I'm so happy for you.

It's funny because this would count as a lovely winter day in mid-winter, but it is the first chilly day. We have snow on the ground and no temperatures above freezing in the long range forecast. Winter is here.

I really don't know how I can take such great pictures! I guess its a gift God gave me!
