@bgmathteach had noted last week that they would not be on for awhile
Great, now I have to actually stay off my work computer for personal reasons and set a good example for @Pastel the Rooster and others.

Okay, I really won't be on here until I get my own computer.

Thanks for calling me out, @ChicoryBlue !:D

I only have seven polishes now. One of them is an Anacona. I think that's how it's spelled? She is really sweet. She has a heart on the back of her head, so she is Aphrodite. Did I already say that? I'm using my school computer right now because I'm grounded. My dad took my phone and earbuds last night because I wasn't working on a project that's due next week. I took them back once he went to bed and my mom found out this morning so she took them back. Oh well. Did Valerie have Anacona's? I seem to remember Val having them. The black ones with white dots? Not an Empress Josey though- she's a leghorn. Exbester or something? Nope, I just looked it up- exchequer. I'm keeping what I originally put because I find it funny.

Oops, my Chromebook is at five. I will be on here later. I'm just rambling and being stupid and weird because I had coffee and I'm bored of doing my project, so sorry about me...
Knuckle under and do the work, then you can play. 💕

What make you think it’s an Ancona? We need photos 😊💕

I have decided to only use bottled water for my chooks drinking stations. If it’s not wild water (rain water) then it’s not worth poisoning my kids with tap water. I’m filling hundreds of gallons of purified water from town. (Summer is gonna be a long hot one! I’m not crazy, 🤪 it’s just that I won’t drink (even filtered) View attachment 3775308tap water from here, so why should they? :idunno
My tax:
What’s wrong with the tap water??

Synopsis for week 16-23 March 2023

Last week’s Synopsis (Mar 9 - Mar 16 2024) is here:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...es-stories-of-our-flock.1286630/post-27583240

Note: for those keeping up with the terminology of breeds and color types @janiedoe corrected her definition of BSO for Goliath given earlier and appearing in last week's Synopsis, I think. The correction is BSO means Blue Silver Orange (“Silver” not “Splash” for the “S”)

@bgmathteach had noted last week that they would not be on for awhile

@BY Bob

Bob found Aurora laying her egg and snapped a picture. Oh, the indignity! (@bgmathteach) Aurora scolded him for it. He had been very innocently doing his Servant duties, keeping track that everyone was safe and sound, and had gone looking for her because she was missing. All good, but then, he could not resist the paparazzi urge. Bad Hooman!

She does look really good in there, though. Not happy, but beautiful. Nice angle for showing off those nape feathers, kudos to the photographer (heh heh)!

@ChicoryBlue

Everyone's okay, Hazel is taking more rest periods during the day but I don't feel or see anything amiss. It might be due to arthritis, or laying again? She and everyone are now laying good shelled eggs, they're on a true layer feed now for one bag (but I'd like higher protein), and I found out my local Agway/True value garden farm store just began stocking Kalmbach and they will order that Full Plume 20% Layer for me. Coming in next week, perfect timing.

I was going to post some pictures and link but we just lost power. So am finishing up this Synopsis on my phone and will post on FBA later.
