Good morning everyone, 4:14am, big huge full moon out there and orange in colour. Lots of high atmosphere smoke making it that colour. Still a lot of fires burning out west

I am being summoned to the barn by crowing roosters. Jeez-wiz!

I just worked a trade: 1 dozen hatching eggs for some local honey. The hen is incubating now.

My shadow today. She is still nervous about them eating out of her hand. Give me time. She has already learned half of their names. Like me she can look at the black hens and already tell them apart and who is who.
