What aroused your suspicion? So I can add it to my library of cockerel signs.Sorry to hear this, I had my suspicions about at the 3 week mark, but like Shorley I held out hope I was wrong.
He sure is eye candy though, what a gorgeous specimen of roosterhood

The poor girl is deep in her molt but that did not stop her from enjoying her corn cake!
The bad news......

I've known for about a month that he probably was not a hen but I did not want to admit it. Mrs BY Bob is very sad. No Polish at FBA this winter.
Versace will need to be rehomed. If anyone is interested I will travel a long way to find him a great home.
If he joined your group you could have Polkies........just saying.Oh he could do it all right. I did not think Branch would be able to successfully do the deed with my big girls. Hello Twig to prove me wrong. I think this is a wonderful idea. If Versace is not yet crowing, he could continue to stay with Bob's flock for a bit longer. I bet Aunt Aurora can teach him a thing or two about manners. What he does not learn from her, Bernie will teach him. Royalchick also has the perfect flock to bring in a young idiot cockerel. All adult hens who have been there, done that and will take no nonsense. I fully support this plan.
And I support that plan @RebeccaBoyd!If he joined your group you could have Polkies........just saying.
I know and it is so tempting. If he joined your group you could have Polkies........just saying.
If I were to take him @BY Bob road trip becomes complicated. After dropping off Versace to me he then has to head to your house. I will have Randy caught and he can come to you. If you agree to that, well, we may have something to think about here. And I support that plan @RebeccaBoyd!
Thanks Alex. It's disappointing but we can't change it. Hopefully we could try again next yearI’m sad for you and the wife

I can’t say this about Rudy the Orpington roo. He has a comb problem, but he’s sweet as molasses! I can’t imagine getting rid of him. My other roo? Time will tellThanks Alex. It's disappointing but we can't change it. Hopefully we could try again next year
