Did you measure her yet? :lau

Pony Sunday

Found this feather, interesting how it is only dark on the one side.

The leaves are changing, but very slowly, not as vivid as last year.

Seed corn is almost ready to harvest, and the forest is getting mixed in colours.

Beautiful scenes! TY!

For Pony Sunday, my little barky boy.
You just tell him he's not a big guard dog! He won't listen to you!

@SimpleJenn ~ Fenix is so handsome. Hard to imagine he had any tooth issues. My 92-yr-old widow neighbor who used to walk her Pomeranian every day had a son living w/her. he rescued a cat from his work & the two animals fought & the Pomeranian lost an eye. i was inwardly so mad ~ introducing 2 stranger pets suddenly. Good intentions & hearts need tempering w/ common sense!

Our chicken neighborhood friends from years ago wanted an Anatolian but wound up adopting 3 of these instead:

They also had 5 cats ~ a Santa Claus friend who also loved the animals!

Our chicken friends moved out-of-state to buy farm property but we keep in touch. They now have all the chickens they want, plus ducks, goats, geese, & turkeys & having a ball hatching quail & game birds too.

They bought a goose for their holiday feast & named it "Christmas". Whatever holiday feast their birds were destined for like "Easter" or "Thanksgiving" etc.

Here's "Christmas" on his car ride home

"Christmas" saw the ducks wandering off the property & "Christmas" herded them back. Our friends said he was too valuable & had turkey for their holiday instead!
