Well, I checked before posting ! And was relieved to see it was more or less as far away from you as possible within in the same state.

Nice to see you back, but I'm sorry about your health issues! Does that mean you have to change the way you eat ? And cut down on the beer ?
I hope your doctor can find the right meds /dosage to help you feel better. It takes a lot of energy to work away from home and then come back to take care of all those dogs and chickens.

I don't have new ponies for Sunday but some nice landscapes from this morning. The larches are beginning to turn orange, in one or two week it will be stunning. And the highland cows this thursday.

A family friend dropped off a cheesecake, she offered it on Facebook and I asked for my parents for helping us out so much this weekend.

How about 'Caramel"? She is such a rich, creamy brown...with notes of grey and and black - but mainly a rich creamy brown.

I love that name. I think it fits very nicely.

But it got me thinking of Crème Brûlée. How about Brûlée for a name?

A full year and she has not been promoted to full tree-sitter status. She is quite upset at being stuck in the 'journeyman' phase. She wants MORE MEALWORMS!!!!

If my PC is running on Dos, and my laptop is MIA of memory, then should I keep this on the QT or RSVP for a repair visit? My DDS has a PHD in enamel repair but that doesn’t help with the issue of the PC or the NB notebook . My phone has iOS because it’s an iPhone.
Apparently apple products are still too expensive for the general public and that makes me PO’d

I'm confused. Can you phrase that a little better please?

Nothing so far! Though I do have two new layers

Patches laid a nice brown egg today, and Georgie also laid a small wee egg! I thought it was from Mrs LC but I was thrown by the darker colour and the larger size. Then I found an egg she did lay, so had to be Georgie

The very 1st eggs from Silkie pullets are indeed a pretty light brown. Subsequent eggs get lighter & lighter till they are a pretty cream. The pigment that coats the egg gets used up considerably.

Some eggs from our 3 new pullets.

Betta's very 1st eggie - beige

Mika's 1st eggie - brown

Keiko's 1st eggie was the lightest - cream

After all the pullets' last eggs were layed before going broody the eggs were all cream colored & it was difficult to tell who layed which egg.
