His feathers are intact, it is the tail itself drooping to the side. Like I said before, he's usually carrying it down and only perks it up once in a while. I've been tucking it to the side because otherwise it hangs out the coop door when I close them in for bed. So I think I injured it last night accidentally.

It's not as drooped this afternoon. View attachment 3980488

I'll read the wry tail thread
Might give vitamin supplement in case it is a deficiency.

He sure is looking great!

Yep, it's been pretty dry through September and October. Supposed to some storms tonight but they aren't showing up on the radar yet. I just planted winter wheat for the deer and bluebonnets for me so a little rain would be nice.
Been dry here the past few weeks and very mild for here.

It can stay like this all winter, you know how much I ‘love’ winter hahaha.

And I am sure my chooks and geegees (horses) would like it too.

My brother in Washington State said that there’s s an island for sale, just west of Vancouver Island BC for sale. If I had three million extra dollars I would buy it and call the island “fluffy butt island “ and fill it totally full of chooks!
It’s on my bucket list

I hear ya, don't much care for the cold or snow. Got enough in my recent trip to Alaska to last me for years.

Ugh….. ya don’t like winter.

I am hoping for another mild winter - we all had a good winter last winter, the horses, the chooks, me…
