1) AI kills almost instantly
2) unless every one of my birds died at once I would not report.

They should outlaw these farm factories, no one needs a barn with 20,000 birds in it.

And the globe should be working to on a vaccine. Not just some countries.

All three of my polish can easily fly the length of the run, although they usually crash into a wall because they can't see

Still need to trim up Marty and Georgie again.

Fluffy and Curly need trimming but they are just finishing moulting some don’t want to cut any blood feathers.

I’m flying off to Colorado now. My rooster has been making me crazy. But I spent all night trying to persuade him that he is not in charge of the world, I am!! Darlene has graciously agreed to take care of my home in my absence. She’s trusted so don’t worry.

My brother requested that I get the new Garmin autopilot and updated software. I love and trust my brother. Im at 4000 and the system is working perfectly.

Good morning everyone.

I've been mia and got 200 plus pages behind. I've not been sick I have just been off. The last week I had no energy and for no reason every muscle just ached. Seasonal depression maybe, although that tends to hit me more around January for a week or two.

I have still not yet heard or saw George crowing. Dad has though. Little man only crows at the crack of daylight while still in the coop. Not a peep once he is let out and I cannot encourage him to do so first thing in the morning. Yes, I have tried. I do not mind a boy crowing in the morning. Nothing from the silkies either. They will be 5 months old in a few days and to be honest, none of them are giving clear signs if they are a boy or not. With Branch I knew by 3 1/2 months. His brother though did fool me right up to 6 months when I let him out of the coop and the devil crowed at me. I have a excuse with him though, it was my first go around with silkies. I did not know some of the signs that he was clearly giving off months before he crowed. This group just is not doing it.

That is ok, I love those little feather dusters. I am taking each day with them all as a gift and enjoying them. I am in no hurry at all to make any decisions. George is also taking his sweet time to fully mature. Even though he has started to crow he still ignores the girls young and old. He also thankfully has not developed a love affair with any part of me unlike Branch and his brief escapade with my hand.

They fly extremely well, like leghorns. I've seen Phyllis hover in the air like a helicopter.

Teehee! I know what you mean about missing time off the thread! We had a 5-hour power outage & even w/ backup batteries that ran out I was almost 20 pgs behind when I got back on!!

Depression? I and DH take minimum 500mg niacin to even out moods. DH has GAD which Dr prescribed 500mg niacin daily. Mental institutions give a minimum 2000 to their stressed depressed patients. Saffron also is good for moods ~ I like it in India or Chinese menus.

& Yum! Yum! Silkies! More plz!!!

Don't worry about late crowers in Silkie boys. Our one boy didn't crow till around 8-8 1/2 months & then he wouldn't shut up!!! But oh, how we loved that little twerp! He was beginning to turn into a very colorful Partridge before we had to return him to the breeder
