Mine won’t even look at banana! I have tried so many times with all of them. It's amazing how much they enjoy bananas (its what they were clustered around). And done, posted to POW.

Hector. The wind was blowing most of the day. Stepping out of the rocks or away from the bush in ANY direction other than that exact spot led to an extreme ruffling of feathers. He spent quite a bit of time there doing sentry duty too.Who is that?
Those bananas were black and mushy....their favorite type. It's easier to share out the treats when the 'nanas are firmer, but getting to step on the skin and squish out the inside is part of the "appeal".Mine won’t even look at banana! I have tried so many times with all of them.
They look like they're coming for those who haven't paid their SHRA tax, sort of like a stampede. Especially the one in the middle. That leg in the back looks like it's about to do an arabesque. The one on the right has a leg that says, "Brace yourself." Meaning, there is a human in front of you. The one in the back wants nothing to do with the situation and I've got nothing to say for the one on the left. They're looking at a different direction. Ma'am, eyes here. All I hear is the tax comments. If you tell me to pay tax and you didn't see this post, please make sure that you pay your SHRA tax.

This is for @BY Bob. Tell me how many Leghorn-like chooks are in this picture. That goes for the rest of you as well. Put your answers in a spoiler.
You are correct on your second answer. There are not 69 chooks in the photo. They look like they're coming for those who haven't paid their SHRA tax, sort of like a stampede. As a jokester, 69. An actual answer, 4. Unless there's one stuck up in a tree.
There is an old saying:Grandma has a question for you all.
She wants to know how you all got your BYC usernames. Mine is quite obvious so there's no need for me to explain.
She's eager to hear your answers!

Rosie likes slugs too, at least most of the year. Just like worms, they seem to have seasons to them.WOW! She did?!
Mrs Little Chicken (LC) flew across the yard and half way up the paddock one day!!! She is built for flying.
Surprisingly though she rarely flies up high in the barn. Mr LC on the other hand frequently flies up into the ceiling beams. He will roost overnight there at times.
We need feeders and waterers for four breeding pens that'll be finished soon, so hubs and I had about an hour of conversation and searched the web on our iPads to see who could come up with the best idea or best deal. Treadles came up so I told them about ya'll saying they don't work for silkies. We don't have a mouse/rat problem anyway. Two cats and a border collie that likes catching them, and these scent pouches I wrote an article about keep them out of our buildings. We had 2 kinds of treadle feeders a large & a small. The standard hens are easier to train. But the Blue Wheaten Ameraucana & Silkies would not step on the treadle because the lid moved & it scared them sh*tless! Watching the standard hen use the feeder was no incentive for the timid birds even though she was a kind hen.
For training there are several adjustments to do gradually & nothing worked. If the one hen stepped on the treadle a Silkie walking by would haul off running when she saw the lid moving. The feeders were low for the Silkies but they preferred starving! We followed so many incentive suggestions & even tried some of our own ideas ~ nothing. After 4 weeks of trying we scrapped the treadles! We tried again a couple years later w/a different flock but Violet the Silkie would never go near the treadles so we stopped again.
