RC, have you ever been to a fancy French restaurant? If you were to ask “what’s in it?” There, the chef would clobber you with a spatula!

Au contraire I am sure the chef would engage me in an enthusiastic conversation about his or her creation.

Rant about nothing:
They say alligator meat tastes like chicken.
They say frogs legs taste like chicken.
Even quail are similar to chicken only gamier.
Then why eat those exotic things in the first place?

I have no interest in trying quail, tiny chickens also equal pets.
I have never tried frog legs. Dad has and swears they are delicious and I would love them. Probably never will.
Alligator now that is something I want to try and will someday. I feel it will be very similar to snapping turtles which I love.

Crazy people swear the best white meat around is rattlesnake. No way in H.E.double hockey sticks am I ever eating snake.

I like frog legs, but I've only eaten them a couple times. They have a texture similar to chicken I guess, but the flavor is different. Like... More zesty or something, I don't know

Alligator jerky is AMAZING! But I haven't had alligator made any other way. I want to try fried battered alligator tail. I first saw that in Beasts of the Southern Wild and it made my mouth water!

I cooked ostrich once. It was a bit like beef.
