I'm going to try to clean my coops out this week. I need to borrow my dad's bleach spray bottle because all of mine are being used at the moment.
Been browsing EBAY for hatching eggs, there are so many types of chickens on there! Colors I've never even heard of!

And of course, gorgeous dark cornish.

My incubator will be running nonstop once spring hits, that's for sure!
You might look into hypocloreous acid vs bleach. I know the bleach sets off my autoimmune issues, but I don't seem to react to the other and it kills pretty much everything.

It has been a chore to capture this. Since George started crowing I have tried to catch it on video. George is a very respectful boy and has made it difficult. First he only crowed early before he was let out of the coop. I never once heard those first strangled kazoo crows. I heard him for the first time Monday morning. He was out front crowing a perfect little crow. I rushed out on the porch to video and he shuts up and never uttered another peep. This morning I heard it again outside my window. This time I flung it open and only put the camera outside to hide from him. I got 1 crow, just one and he realized he had a audience and shut up again.

Good Morning from George.
He was practicing in secret so as not to offend his lady (you)

2:40pm

Checked the barn cams, Laverne is hanging out by the door wanting in the Summer House.

And then I caught Betty trying to pick at poor Mr P. So tomorrow she can join the rest again. I worry about her with those bigger Roos. But poor Mr P really is being harassed too much by these pullets.

It’s a rainy cold day here today. I just missed a downpour when I went out to feed the chooks. They will be spending their time inside the coop. It’s muddy, cold and wet outdoors.
Poor next door Nacho has been crying for the whole morning wanting to play with her friends in the coop. I told her “go home Nacho, the kids are not coming out to play today!”
