"Here’s some pictures I got of Auggie the other day, if you wouldn’t mind posting them too!

I don’t think the saddle was fitting very well in these pictures, so I’m going to take a look at that next time I go to the barn.

He grabbed my lunging whip out of my hands! It was hilarious.

She’s an elderly little lady.

Arthritis is very debilitating - and it’s such a deceiving thing; your mobility is better the more you move around, but your so achy you don’t want to move.

I gave Truly and Reenie some Bute tonight as they were looking achy earlier. And I also took some Naproxen.

I can see how Hattie would want to just rest - I like how you are giving her some Meloxicam. Can I ask what the dosage is for chooks? I was thinking of getting some for Penelope.

Also have you ever thought of giving some Tylenol along with the Meloxicam? There is evidence that giving Tylenol along with an anti-inflammatory med enhances both their actions (at least in mammals).

I need to work it out per kg for you.
My vet prescription is 0.5 ml per kg for pain killing short term use (up to three days) and 0.3 ml per kg for longer term use.
Here it comes in two different dosage, one for dogs and one for cats, so I have to work out the ratio depending on which one I get. The dog one is stronger and I've had difficulties getting some chickens to eat it mixed in a treat - it must have a taste or a smell. Now I always ask a prescription for the cat version.

My parents owned various models and went south and up to Alaska and down to Cabo San Lucas MX and all over North America for over 23 yrs. They never had an issue, and not one of their friends or anyone in the parks either. There are safety standards on these things, when problems happen it's usually because someone has decided to do the work themselves (i.e electrical or gas pipe fittings...) and they didn't know the dangers that can cause.
I hope your family appreciate you. You're amazing with all you can do.
I personally know how to set up the wiring for lighting etc and have installed it many times myself in the barn. BUT I never make go live until I get my father or my uncle (who is a pipefitter by trade) to inspect it and do the final wiring into the live system. I am not a professional - they are.

OK speaking of barns I need to get cracking here, it's milder today -1C and the sun is trying to peek out - calling for freezing rain starting around 1pm - it's 10:30am now so need to get some stuff done outside.

They are grumpy

I told them no going outside

They proceeded to tear the place apart

So I relented

After all I am a good Hooman who knows my place.

The shrinking hoses are the best. I love mine.

Oh dear, yet another domestic with you and those chickens :D
