Haha! She saw Santa at the store monday and he asked for some coffee because he drinks too much milk on Christmas eve!
I figured two carrots between 9 reindeer is safe enough

Good morning everyone, new mama and chickies are doing well. Hoping tomorrow to get them out in the Summer House for wee bit. As long as it’s a bit on the warm side.

I removed the bin in Georgie Girl’s crate so the chickies and she could move about, she is having none of that it seems! And she is keeping babies close to her, good mummy!

Georgie is keeping the chicks warm...hope she is warm too. Guess the chicks keep her warm from below Where did you find Silkie babies for her? Our two local feed stores (several cities away) don't sell chicks in winter. The stores used to allow private breeders to bring in chicks on consignment sales but w/AI threats they don't do it anymore.

We know you don't like snow but you can proudly say your White Christmas is picture postcard gorgeous!

I hear you! We don’t have any real youngsters (yet), but now we are all old enough to be enjoying just sitting around chatting, eating and enjoying ourselves.

I am just having a cuppa tea befor heading up to DS and BIL’s for a late lunch if Turkey and the fixings.

Good memories from the past. However today's family gathering of 7 is 6 people too many for this old lady!

Our cottage is too small to host so we're traveling to DD/SILs for a Tacos Tamales & Prime Rib feast. We aren't traditional holiday eaters. The local fire dept there travels the neighborhoods w/a Santa in fire honking vehicles tossing apples & peanuts to the kids & old folks that come out to wave.

We want to be back early enough to close up the coop. I'm already pooped just thinking about the day...
