Actually Michelle, I had it listed , but when Chaco died, I lost interest due to my grief. Maybe I’ll list it again after the holidays. Not too many people have $1.6 million dollars to spend during the holidays.Woodlake CA
A nice compact Christmas scene says it all meaningfully ~ all it needs is a nativity barn to house the animals for next yearBill got us a new tiny tree this year, a dwarf blue spruce. We set it up with the gifts from my sister and her kids. They made the candles (chicken and gnome) and my niece made the felties a Rosie chicken and a penguin.View attachment 4014591
Cute !!What’s with the skeletons ? Next year put some of those LED lights inside them like I did with the chooks.
Those candles are great.

I have high hopes for Shorely. I want to call him Shorty for some reason. He sounds like so far he is taking after the Marans side of his breeding. Both my big boys were such gentle boys. Calm and well mannered. A steady presence that is missed. Bubba was never even the top Roo. His hatch brother Branch was the top dog. Together those two were a unit and shared the responsibilities exceedingly well. I have hopes he and either Mr. LC or the silkie dude pair up and become a team. 1 good rooster is a pleasure. 2 great ones working together is a sight to behold and leads to a very very stable flock.Rosario’s new Hooman sent me word that he is a good leader and very nice to the ladies.
Good Mr P and Mr LC for beating that into him.
Now if my glorious big boy can find a nice home - he is super quiet, so he can stay as long as he remains quiet.
Wonder if cochins come in golden laced....that would be my first guess: 1/4 silkie (or half from 2 halves), 1/4 cochin....or maybe a cochin x silkie mix crossed with a single comb (or only 1 R comb) Golden wyandotte....hmmmm...
With all the silkie traits, I'm thinking both parents were/are half silkie mixes with 2 different types of other halves....one of which was golden laced of some sort.
W/ mint green eggs Morinth definitely had a blue egg gene ancestor too.
I have a thing about skeletons and Halloween. Last year i browsed through some clearance decor at the store while grocery shopping and they had these funny pirate skeletons marked down to a dollar or two do i bought one. This year they had the same little skeletons, but they were brides so i had to have oneWhat’s with the skeletons ? Next year put some of those LED lights inside them like I did with the chooks.
Those candles are great.

Hang on to it. Home developers are constantly on the lookout for vacant or near vacant lands.Actually Michelle, I had it listed , but when Chaco died, I lost interest due to my grief. Yep, sort of a tined dustpan ~ which around here we use regular long-handled solid dustpans. Amazing the tools designed to fit all our animal yard needs! I love this type of closed dustpan so when we lift it up the collection is swiveled shut so the wind doesn't blow the debris out of it.Did you like the addition of the manure rake? Good for also picking up chicken poops from shavings.
