Our birds get KUSC classical music or KKLA sermon talks & nothing else ~ no rock, no metal, no oldies goodies either or I'd go crazy myself. I don't need metal head-tossing Silkies!

My chooks get to listen to me singing to them… tough for them!

It's hard sometimes to figure out why our birds nestle themselves at our door ~ the talking? just companionship? just a nice safe place to rest & digest a crop? a place where a treat gets tossed? hopefully cuz they luv us?

Because healthcare in the US sucks and insurance companies are greedy. Dental and mental health are separate types of healthcare that may or may not be covered

If I ever do this chicken thing again, I’ll be sure to get smart birds, like Brown Leghorns, Ameraucana breeds and Rhode Island Red chooks. I prefer a chook that I can have a conversation with.

Unless one’s workplace has extended health coverage for dental we pay out of pocket - unless you are over 65 or under 19 and your family makes less than a certain amt, then dental is free or 90% covered.

I don’t remember seeing the kidling photo - they grow so fast don’t they! Even Georgie Girls dumplings are getting big, they are a month old now

They are in the crate again today due to cold.

But mom I know I can still fit under your wing!
