I had a half-golden retriever, half yellow lab named Teddybear. He was a great dog.
We've decided no more long haired, double coat dogs if we can help it. I did a poor job teaching Fenix to cooperate, so grooming him is a nightmare.

Butterbird. The feed store gets their first shipment the second week of February...and hubby said we're getting more butterbirds.

Well I bought at Peavey Mart (loke TSC) who deal with Hoovers.

If you have a TSC nearby you should be able to order all sorts of breeds through them.

As for Peavey Mart News is they are closing locations across Ontario. And their chick order site is shut down.

I had issues before Christmas getting feed, had to switch to Purina Layena - they love the textured stuff and it smells great!

I am now feeding MasterFeeds horse feed. That feed store gets chicks in but not from the US - they get regular layers and broilers from a hatchery here in Ontario (Freys https://freyshatchery.com/chickens/ ) who I see have lavender Orps and buff Brahma! And offer silkies now…..

Guess if I want chicks I will have to go to TSC in Niagara Falls and get them.

Our run roof collapsed

Welp...good thing there were no birds out there. I kept forgetting to go beat the snow off of the tarp. Hubby says it's fixable.

Snow - evil white stuff!

That is why I am worried about what to put over the run here. Not that my wimps go out in the cold and snow…
