That’s awesome! I am so happy seeing these older ladies doing well. And even Hattie looks wonderful - she is such a beauty ♥️
Hattie is gorgeous. A grand old lady. These days she makes effective use of her movements saving them for something important.

Whew, I was more behind then normal. My work started the big move to our new location this week with the usual craziness moving creates. Blown fuses and other power issues, no furniture for the break room, still painting sections of the building etc. Everything should be in place by the end of the weekend, then will just have to get set up and shuffled around a few times. My department (sewing) was moved in first.

I spent all day yesterday researching cooking pots trying to find just the right one, without settling on anything. 😜 I just want the perfect pot without spending 300.00 is that too much to ask?

I want to ask what kind of pot your looking for so I can possibly help, but I can't. I don't have any current pictures of my chickens. I can talk more when I do. :lau

I am really liking Laverne, she has turned into a lovely pullet, very docile, sweet, doesn’t kick up a fuss, no drama.

Her only bad thing is her propensity for picking Mr P’s pin feathers making them bleed. Which is why she is no longer allowed in the Summer House to hang out with her mama.

It’s unlikely I will be able to get anymore Lavender Orps. Though I think Freys does offer them.

Just checked and they do, they have buff Brahma, buff Orp lavender Orp, and speckles suspects. But only as ready to lay pullets. I would prefer day olds, but I guess my three Azure were integrated fairly easily. Helps that were docile and friendly.

Anywhooo I am not getting any this year. But hood to know next year they will be there.
