Gee, I wonder where their favorite places to scratch are...
Today or tomorrow hopefully we'll put the snow fence back up, give them a (relatively) safe area to roam around in so I don't have to herd them around and have anxiety sweats while they're out in the yard
Saw the red-shouldered hawk pair mating again yesterday evening while the girls were out. Luckily they're very vigilant and they spotted the hawks long before I did (I've never heard such loud caution trills!), and I don't think the hawks were interested in trying for the chickens anyway. But they're always watching.
