So, I have potentially did a bad thing. I have converted my brother over to a true chicken person. George is his if you listen to him and when he and his girlfriend move out in a year and a half he is taking George with him, or so he says. He can talk all he wants, George is staying put.

My brother has discovered thanks to me and facebook and ticktock that there are hundreds of breeds of chickens. In the last 3 months he has been bombarding me with video's. Michael is a Bantam person at heart. He has became obsessed with little chickens. Now that we have George he has shifted his focus over to Seabrights, why do I not have those, I need some of them according to him. He is also obsessed with this person on facebook

I'm telling you right now, if they were not in Texas he would already have bought a few of their little serama or Kikiriki roosters they have had for sale. Every single video they post he shares to me with the same saying...'YOU NEED THIS ONE". Somehow he has not yet figured out that you can ship adult or teenage birds for a small fortune. I am not telling him. I love my brother, but he does not need to know that right now.

That's because he has too many to take care of.
And yet even when he has other Roos to help out, he just fights - and ignores the hens!

He only has eyes for the silkies - and Betty (I was a bit cringing seeing him with her the first time…. 😳).

Oh and Blanche and Sophia. Seems he likes the older girls. Smart Roo! He will herd them away from the younger ones. He thought he might pick another hen when Penelope died but nope. I feel he is eyeing the Dumplings as future herd mates - this morning he was prancing around for Holly 😳😳😳

She was wanting nothing to do with him! If he accepts the dumplings (all assuming they are fillies) that will give him a herd of mostly silkies. Mrs LC wants nothing to do with Mr LC, she only has eyes for Mr. P.

:barnie

Not that I want to breed her but Mr P just about squashes her when he tries to breed her! I am going to have to separate her from him I guess. But I worry about her with Shirley.

Michael look! Pigeon sized and likes to snuggle! But flies everywhere.

Oh good lord they have Lemon Cuckoo's . I did not know about Lemon Cuckoo's. Ugh, my yard is not big enough for all the coops I am going to need. Okie dokie, I need to hit the lottery now. I need a bigger yard. I need 2 barns, one for Rosie and dad to fill with horses and my own private barn. Each stall with a attached covered run to fill with every single color of silkies on one side. The other side, every color of Marans, including those that Australia is working on. Hmm...I take that back, I need 3 barns, one for horses, one for silkies and one for marans.
Yep - I know that situation!

I used to have a horse barn, it’s slowly being taken over by chooks!

I have a strong gut-feeling that Mrs. LC can take care of herself!
