There was a fox attack happened at around 2:30pm today. One of my 4-months-old hen got injured pretty badly. Lost lots of feather and seems the fox teared her stomach skin. Here attached a picture.

I cut her feather around the wound and pour 10% Povidone-Iodine to clean it. It is a big open wound, however I don't see lots of blood. Currently I kept her indoor with clean water. She is still able to stand-up but her eye lids are shut for most of the time. Not sure if she can make it.

Any suggestion will be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Giver her warm water with a pinch of salt and sugar, molasses or honey or you can give Gatorade. Keep her warm and quiet over night.
Thanks a lot! I did everything I can but she did passed away in the next morning. Sad but it is the life, I bought a large chicken run and decided to keep my other girls in at least for the rest of the spring :)
