I bought this chick at a feed store, they said she’s a French blue copper maran from Hoovers. She doesn’t look like the pictures they have of them though. Since this picture, she’s gotten a few darker feathers. Is she still a blue maran? A different color?

It's possible she's an blue marans. She has a blue coloring to her but much lighter than the 2 I have. Sorry for the bad pic but it's the only one I have of the same age. The blue marans is the one on the far left.

Yours almost looks like a lavender orpington or something. Does she have feathered feet?

She does have feathered feet. At the feedstore, there was a mix of light ones like mine, and some darker ones more like yours in the same bin. They were all labeled as blue marans though.

I'll toss in another option and say potentially "Splash" (two copies of blue)

Pictured were my chicks. The 3 greyish ones in middle (forming a triangle for some reason) are 2 splash marans and 1 lavender orpington. It was impossible for me (*I'm new to this) to tell them apart from above for a while.

I could see that. I guess I'll have to wait and see until she's older; she's only about a week old. I'm still crossing my fingers for blue, though

You can probably disregard my "splash" option, actually.
I just looked at hoover's site, and they don't list "splash marans" or "bbs marans" anywhere.

And, as others have mentioned, blue can look really light or really dark.

One year I got a "surprise" chick from a different hatchery. Looked over literally every single bird they offered. Looked nothing like that they had. Turned out it was a silver laced polish and he looked nothing like the chick example pictures.

That's good to know. I believe this feed store was only using Hoover's, so there shouldn't be any surprise chicks. I guess it's just a game of wait-and-see now!
