From kids playhouse to luxury chicken coop!

We had a 20 year old playhouse in our backyard that we turned into a luxury coop for our 5 chickens. Turned out pretty good! They even have a solid oak handrail as a perch that they sleep on every night.

Joan1708 I don't have any more pics yet. It's still a work in progress (getting the hubby to finish it is a chore in itself! Haha) For now the nesting boxes are in the bottom but next summer we will put them upstairs with 4 windows, one on every side and the metal roof should be up within the next 2 weeks. Will post more pics as its finished!

That roost looks really high up! How many birds do you have?

Are you going to cover the nests boxes so they don't get filled with poop?
