That's a great idea & definitely would beat boredom! I wonder if it would help keep their beak trimmed as well?

Yes, and after I freeze a pan full I'll pop them out and bag them up for the freezer!

Yes, pop them on a tray so they can drink the ice water when it melts.

I make one big frozen block. The larger block lasts longer outside. I also put peas in mine. You can put just about anything in there that your hens like. I think the hens really appreciate it on those hot days.

Great idea!! Do you put them on something when you get ready to feed ?

I plan on putting 2-3 of them on an old cookie sheet as they will be slippery little devils!! Hopefully they'll stay on the pan, but I doubt it!
