I don't have any doubt about Agatha's performance but for 1 to lay 7? No I don't think so. I've read where you can find that many yolks in one shell but not that many separate eggs from 1 hen in 1 day.

My 4H leader has most of her flock laying double yolks actually! But I've never seen 1 laying even one a day, let alone 7. This guy is obviously trying to take advantage of peoples ignorance and rip people off. What most people don't know is 6 eggs a week is almost max egg production for a chicken.

I just really hope no one falls for that :( Knowing what it's like to be the "newbie" when it comes to chickens (I just got mine in May and June) it's not "hard" to believe they might lay 2 a day if I hadn't done my research. I grew up around chickens, but never ever knew who was laying what (my grandma and grandpa had a farm with chickens, cows, and pigs), and I didn't get to interact with chickens much, mostly just interactions with piglets and calves (we had things we were allowed to do and things we weren't, we were NOT allowed to go by the adults without strict supervision because they could really hurt us).
