Tamar kicked hers to the curb, she roosted last night, they didn't:

Zack hasn't crowed yet, he'll be 12 weeks old on Thursday.

Joel's first attempts to crow were at about 10 weeks, but he didn't have seven bossy hens keeping him in his place.

Me too! The previous 5 boys/0 girls was a bit disheartening.

Oh yes those Sussex are big time talkers - constantly peeping, muttering, chirping, crowing, etc.

I noticed this week that a leg band was getting tight on one of the chicks, so I changed them all after dark this evening.

Even Zack...who got a new green band. He was not amused.
