Gamebird given to me..What is she/he?

Aseel is a huge stretch. They're not very common. People that do have them wouldn't be crossing them.

It's a barnyard mix, possibly containing game.
Someone on Ebay was selling Saipan Orpington crosses.

They're actually more common then Malay, Indigo Gigantes, & Saipans.

I was just told it's a game hen. The only one that survived. I was happy to rescue him...now I have a lot to learn. I just needed to figure out what im looking for while researching.
So far, being so young he's very sweet and docile but as he gets older....

Few out there might not agree with this? I find a Game Rooster to be more protective of the hens when it comes to Hawks. 1 Year later and none my hens has been killed! 2 years ago i had 6 roosters in the yard and lost a chicken. Not many want this if your going to breed your own chicks, the outcome can be problems if you want to sell them for egg layers.
Currently, my whole flock is under a Cooper's hawks nest. My rooster warns them as they fly over and all hide but yeah...lets just say I pray OFTEN for them.
I Could cover them as I did at first but they ran out of green to eat so we took the top off and they are free to roam 😲
I have 4 turkeys in there too..hopefully to help deter the hawks.
