Trouble in paradise, it seems. He's an RA. I forget what that stands for but basically he's a dorm monitor. He caught a couple of guys vaping in one of the dorms and told them to report to the Dean. They got expelled; it's not their first offense. He was a little agitated.. one of the boys tried to bribe him not to report them. I thought that's what he was mad about - I would have been. But he didn't care about that! He was indignant that they were smoking in HIS dorm! Not his dorm room, his school! Lol, that's my boy!

In Canada they let you keep your house if you are on assistance?

If you were still able to make those payments, I would imagine yes. They limit what they can take for extended care situations, based on your financial situation, and from what my mom has been telling me about my dad’s mom’s situation - it’s covered by provincial health care unless you get into your preferred facility. So the “preferred” one was the next town over, but she got in at the “next spot open” so it’s not costing an arm and a leg.
Convalescence stays though are covered by provincial health I do believe - when she fell and hurt herself…

I just talked to the night nurse, They have Tom tied to the bed. He is struggling to get up. Nurse said he is in there talking to me. She said he is combative when she is trying to turn him in the bed. This feels so wrong.
