Thanks Granny. Life is tough for old folks!that's sad Cap, Im sorry for your loss.
Just try to eat smart for today. Buy nutritious food so it is available . Eat fruit and veggies and nuts as snacks. You will feel better too!I’ve heard of it before and it does sound good but idk if it’d be possible for me to stick to it 100% all the time
Today is my birthday. I am getting ever closer to 70 y o. I really don't expect to make it 10 more years. There's something very wrong with me. Always short of breath, nearly pass out when I stand up quickly. I had a pulmonary function test, my lungs are normal. Something must be wrong with my heart. Dad had open heart surgery with a triple by pass, aortic aneurysm repair and valve replacement. He died a week later. He was the last of 6 siblings to die from heart issues.Bad dreams, I was gleefully setting this house on fire. Just touching a torch to all the contacts thru the whole house. I didn't intend to try and make it out.
You are a strong person Cap and I am very happy to be able to call you my friend. I'm so sorry about all you are going through. It's a lot. Not a thing wrong with sleeping when you want or going braless. Once you are used to it you will wonder why you ever put one on. Just no thin white tshirts!Today is my birthday. After that fall in October that hurt my ribs, I ended up having a lipoma surgically removed in the same area. So have been in pain since October. The surgeon made a mess just under my breast so I doubt I will be able to wear a bra.
All this after Lyme disease that doesn't want to quit. I won't go on about the immune disorders and depression I fight. I will mention that I am convinced developing dementia is in my near future. My brain just isn't working right.
Not saying I am giving up yet. Going for an echocardiogram Monday. I will get in to see my cardiologist soon. When I am tired, I will sleep. I don't care when it is. I am taking my meds. Lost over 20 pounds.
My goats are in new homes. Only one miserable rooster left. Less chores.
My loving husband is here. I have 2 sons, who are good but busy. I may see them once next year. We talk on the phone maybe twice a year.
My good friends on BYC are suffering and fighting the aging decline. I am proud of your fight.
Hubby and I will go out for seafood soon. We deserve it! Have a great day, my friends.
