Granny's gone and done it again

Is your recipe an easy one or ?
Granny yes, very easy.

Oven 400°
2 cans Veg-All, drained
1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup.
4 oz (1/2 c.) Milk
1 can Swanson's chicken, drained
Your choice frozen puff pastry, thawed OR 1 can "whop" biscuits (Pillsbury canned biscuits

1 egg + 1 tsp water, beaten together

Combine all ingredients except biscuits or puff pastry, pour into casserole dish. Top with the pastry of your choice, either the ouff pastry or biscuits. Brush top with egg wash. Bake 30 - 35 min or till brown. Let stand 5 min or so, serve hot.

Thank you! I am going to write this down. Supposed to shop tomorrow. I'm not sure what puff pastry is. I will Google but when do you add the biscuits and do you just lay them on top like they came out of the can or?

If using biscuits, I would just lay the biscuits evenly on top like they come out of the can. Like dumplings.

Thanks Blue. I love chicken pot pie. Never made one before. I know its a PITA for you to type all that and I appreciate it. 🥰
Not a problem, Granny. Happy to do it for you. But if you make this, you have to tell me how it turns out!
