Great find: Egg trays large enough for duck eggs

They look like the cartons we get Easter eggs packaged in out here. Maybe they are a little thicker - but for a similar price- I would rather buy a few packs of choccies eggs for the kids...as long as they give me back the cartons afterwards.

I got some of those from Eggcartons.com. They are great for those really big eggs. And they were not too expensive but I don't have to use them that often and my customers return them to me for a refill.

I get it! I get it!

They're not egg cartons; they're serving trays. Lucite serving trays. They're not the things that eggcartons.com has, the thin flexible plastic.

That is actually VERY COOL because they could be used as hatching trays. You know how people hatch in cartons, but the paper cartons are bad because they affect the humidity and the styro cartons are bad because they offgas? A lucite tray would solve that problem.

Thanks, OP - I will definitely think about ordering one.

Yeah these are not cartons but HOLDERS. If I read it right it is 3 for 9. This would replace the white plastic refrigerator egg holder that can't hold the darn duck eggs because they are too big

Wow, I forget to mention that they are very solid and meant to be used to serve hard boiled egg on a buffet. They are very thick and look like glass and do have some weight to them. They do have similar ones on ebay made out of glass or porcelain, but I worry about chipping those. Wont happen with these acrylic. I love them in the fridge, because I'm so tired of using a flimsy extra large foam egg carton, plus they look very nice. The price is very good for these acrylic trays that hold 12 eggs each. I bet they can even hold goose eggs.
