When I noticed the green legs at about a week old I thought something was terribly wrong with my new chick. Of course I immediately looked it up. Turns out green legs is “a thing” and a quite unique one. For anyone who has never seen a green legged chicken, here you go. Oh, and she has a beard and crazy hairdo as well!

That looks very similar to the mama hen. I was told she was a Swedish flower, but I am wondering if that was correct.
Oh right, you might actually have a Easter Egger hen, not Swedish Flower. I've never had a Swedish Flower, would like too, pretty sure they should not have green legs. Do you have a pic with your gals head in it? If she has puffy cheeks I'd bet on EE. Is her cheek color green or blue ?? She's going to give you beautiful eggs :love

Her daddy Roo is an olive egger, I hatched the mamma hen from a friend, she said the parents were a swedish flower mom and silkie dad. Pic1 Dad, pic 2,3 mom, pic 4 the green leg. This mom and dad have given us some of the most unusual looking babies.
