Growth on toe.

My friends chicken has a growth on her toe. We originally thought it was bumblefoot but when we cut it open we couldn’t find the infection. I have done bumblefoot before and know what it should look like but this seems different. Any suggestions would help. She is about two years old.

Where did you cut? I see the scab in the middle of the toe.

She cut right down the middle and really deep
