We haven't seen coyotes in this part of the state for a very long time. It is way to populated around here for them. My Mom lives 5 hours away in southern UT and she has many of them. It would be nice to see some here and there but I haven't even seen a trace of them in the high country for miles around. We may be lucky and see signs of bear and cougar but no coyote.
I guess I am going to get some coyote urine to try. Our local stores do not sell it and tend to look at me oddly when I ask if they have any. Amazon seems to have some though.
I also heard that hair clippings help deter predators. My kids all need hair cuts so I will head on out to back yard and clip away.
Do any of y'all have other suggestions???
