Hatching different stages of eggs in an incubator

First-time incubating my own eggs. I have two sets of eggs in the incubator. The eggs are 5 days apart. My plan is to remove the automatic egg turner on day 19/20 (before they pip). And then make sure that the humidity returns to an appropriate level.

I do not have a backup incubator to move them too. What do you guys do in this situation?

I would stop turning on day 18, that would make your other batch day 12. It’s more important to stop turning so the chicks can position for hatching.

No turning 1st through 7th day?

I would not have started more eggs on day 5 of the first batch
Most folks who do staggered hatches have a separate bator for hatching.
Can you get one?

I originally had them in a homemade incubator. I had to move them out of the homemade incubator because we were having problems regulating the temperature in our house, causing fluctuations in the temperature in the incubator. The morning that I moved them, the incubator was down to 91 degrees.

I could easily start it back up and move them there, but I would be so afraid that we would have a temperature problem and lose the chicks at the very end.

I am on day 17.
