Hi, I've just signed up after reading some really positive, friendly threads, thank you! I have just bought 4 chickens, 2 red mottled leghorns and 2 moran cross araucanas. It's been a very stressful start as one of the leghorns pecked one of the maraucanas so bad it was raw flesh on the back of its neck. We have isolated the poorly one, but then the leghorn started on the other maraucana! I now have both maraucanas in isolation and the leghorns are in together. This has entailed a lot of building and rebuilding of the coop and the run. I'm hoping to reintroduce them when the poorly one is better, then isolate the bully! Wow! What a start, I'm exhausted with it all...
