Ok, thanks! I hope so!I had one like that. Her toes were constantly pecked by a broodmate we affectionately call Pecky Becky. Once the initial scan formed, the chick itself tended to peck it occasionally until it would seep blood just a little and then leave it alone. I think it took all of two weeks to clear up.
