Whatcha Making for Supper?

I looked up a recipe and finally made some great hash browns! The secret was to rinse the potatoes until the water runs clear and then squeeze out all the liquid in a towel. Add a little (very little) egg and flour for binding and viola! They came out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

BLT tonight. We'll be going out to lunch this afternoon.

@ValerieJ , I gave up on trying to make hash browns from scratch, but I never tried adding a binder.
Now I use Ore Ida dehydrated. I just made one this morning.

I'm going to keep in mind adding a binder if I ever give them a whirl again.
